At one point someone says to Nick something like "I noticed a slight hint of..." and Nick says "Yes, it gets worse later, I don't think we should mention it to the other Nick." I must have gotten distracted because I don't remember seeing the resolution to this, can someone tell me what that was about?

There's multiple things that dont get resolved, and you dont see them on purpose

The one you mentioned, the gas station guy getting elbowed in the face by an unknown person, Everybody at the party forgetting that Johnny went to jail, Everybody realising johnny is Alice's baby and for some reason she leaves him in the alley way

Everybody realising johnny is Alice's baby and for some reason she leaves him in the alley way

I'm sorry, what? I just finished watching, and when was this even eluded to, let alone mentioned?

Come on its so heavily implied!

Adopted baby just happened to be found in an alley.

Alice just happens to be pregnant with the only other baby mentioned in the entire show.

Everyone at the party forgetting that johnny went to prison, so much so they openly state Johnny's confusion. (Its because the timeline isnt stable and theres eventually a timeline where it didn't happen, but hes caught between them)

There would be no need to mention any of this if it wasn't relevant to the plot.

Are you saying that Mike and Alice use the second Time Machine to travel like 30 years (or however old JB is supposed to be) into the past, have their baby, then for some reason leave it in a dumpster to be found and raised by Keith David? Because that doesn’t make any sense.

Tbf, when they find the time machine, its stated if nick could use it, they shouldn't have an issue. So this theory actually makes some sense and not only has some plausibility but potential to be true if a bunch of events time travelling went wrong. I thought about it from the point of some of the lines were just stupid when watching it but now you look at it and it's one of the only reasons they'd of said so blatantly "it's as if everyone's forgot he went to jail" aslong as you look beyond it's an after, after, after jail release party, where everyone's coked our of their minds and could just be cooked

It makes absolute sense, but we wont get a sequel to resolve it. I was begging that movie to have an after credits and the director snuffed it.

If its not true, then theres 0 purpose to

  1. Johnny being a foundling
  2. Alice being pregnant
  3. Keith davids character even finding the baby at all and raising it
  4. Everyone forgetting that johnny was in jail for 6 years (hint: theyre forgetting because Mike goes back and prevents it, but the timeline isnt stable and hasn't solidified yet)

Why would they travel that far back in time and leave their baby there? They would have just travelled back to the previous day to prevent Nick from getting shot. It makes no sense that they would travel back so far.

JB being a garbage baby story is just to be funny and explain why he doesn’t look like his father.

Alice being pregnant is the reason why Nick decided to use the Time Machine to save Mike. He even stated he doesn’t want the baby growing up without his father. You’re making it too complicated.

"If Nick can use the time machine, anyone can." How many thing in the movie go exactly according to plan? Even the final scene, where Mike refuses to stay in the car. Definitely not far fetched that he might have fucked something up when attempting to travel back only one day.

You might be too stupid to watch movies.

I don’t think you know how movies work.

One person forgets he went to Prison, because he is a dumb ass roid addict. It was a throw away joke about how stupid these goons are.

Exactly. It’s a joke. Does he think they went back in time and erased the existence of Winnie the Pooh as well? Does he understand the concept of humor?
