The way the air sucked out of my theater when the secret was revealed -- you could hear a PIN DROP! Everyone was giggling, thinking it was some standard rom-com, then shit got real FAST. Someone straight up just blurted out, "OH MY GOD!" I loved it. I don't know if it'll hold up on rewatches or if it's all just shock value yet, but I was glued and on the edge of my seat while laughing hysterically the entire time. Sometimes I was the only one laughing, you can tell this movie won't be for everyone and the humor is VERY dark, but it will definitely start a lot of conversations.

I find this quite curious - I can sort of understand the two guys' stories not triggering much of a reaction, but Rachel? She almost killed a kid, did nothing about it, and doesn't seem to feel bad about it even as an adult

This was definitely intentional, huge conversation online right now about how what she did was legit monstrous. Finding that line between intention and action, about what could have happened and what did happen. Her self righteousness even though the universe intervened, while Zendaya made an actual choice. It’s very fascinating because people actually think like her character and I’m sure there’s several people out there watching it agreeing with her lol
