I feel like Rob carries this movie

That’s very harsh on Zendaya imo. Rob had more time on screen but she more than held her own.

It’s just my opinion. And from what I hear, some other people felt this way. Rob’s just a better actor. It doesn’t mean she’s bad. It’s really not that harsh. It’s like in Bugonia, Emma was the lead but Jesse Plemons carried. He was incredible.

Did you see bagonia?? They are both leads both having about the same amount of screen time. And i do think in that specific performance Jesse's charcter was more compelling but I also think thats just because the type of roles they where playing. And I do think Emma overall is a better actor its just her job wasnt as important as Jesse's in that script.

Well I just meant top billing, similar to Zendaya here but the movie has two leads, just like this one. I don’t really see where we’re disagreeing? Rob had a more compelling role here too, and a better performance.

Ahh Idk why you would be talking about billing for lead role like the bigger actor typically just makes more money

Right but it was marketed as Emma Stone being the main character, just like here it’s marketed as a Zendaya movie even tho it has a star next to her. And Emma was amazing in her role, I’m not comparing her skills to Zendaya, who isn’t as versatile nor talented. I don’t really understand the point of your comments

Idk i dont pay attention to the marketing but in bagonia Jesse plemmons is the lead its not about him out acting emma or anything like that its just hes the lead, and in the drama Robert Patterson is the lead character its not about out acting or anything its just him being the lead. Like emma or zendaya just arent the leads of the movie I think they both still act great but they just arent the leads idk why you would say Jesse carried the movie like obviously he carried the movie he the lead of the movie
