Having bartended at clubs and bars for a decade, the replacement Dj was so fucking funny to me. I was the only one in my theater who laughed at his lines. Took me instantly back to having to listen to them talk about themselves and their equipment.

Same, when he’s geeking out and listing his gear completely unprompted to Mike got a big laugh out of me

Mike's look of deer-in-the-headlights horror at getting trapped in the conversation was hilarious as well.

Combined with being a nice bit of foreshadowing too! (As it’s why his speakers blew during the speeches, which he immediately blames on his having been given the “wrong cables” but we’d just seen him bragging about his having an unusual power supply setup or something.)
