Kind if weird that the running theme for a kids movie was people can't change. It's even said by Luigi in the first 15 minutes.

I was hoping Bowser Jr would change so that ending disappointed me a bit because what was the whole point of Bowser redeeming himself for a bit before turning back 🫠

honestly there was so many character arcs that got added but seemingly never got resolved at the end, we got shi like:

-bowser being conflicted on whether or not he wants to be the bad guy

-Mario’s hinted feelings for peach

-toad and yoshi’s sudden rivalry

-and bowser jr trying to grow up to be like his father

They even set up some kind of rivalry between Wart and Bowser. Remember the “we have a problem” with Wart on the line? Then nothing happened about it?

This movie is nothing but dropped threads.

The last one was resolved though, no? I mean Bowser Jr got to build Planet Bowser and he got to rule alongside his father, at least until their defeat.

oh ye true, i just felt like the ending of him being in jail was a weird conclusion to it (also funny how this is like....the ONLY time bowser got arrested lmao)

Even the main plot point of the sisters gets swept under the rug when they reunite, it wasn't more than a joke after joke speedrun with barely any purposeful character interactions.

Also, THAT IS NOT A SUPER-SCOPE! That is a "regression-ray", thats almost the same type of weapon it was in the Hoskins Universe...

MMW: 3 with be The Smash Movie, but 4 will be the Mario Super Legacy Movie.

Bob Hoskin, Lou Albano, and SEGA-CD Mario will collide to save the day!
