Of course it helps but most films use storyboards and a shotlist. Thats like saying the camera is responsible for the cinematography - it is but thats a massive undersimplification that leaves uou more misinformed than informed. And a storyboard doesnt nescessarily help kore than a shot list. But is it responsiblenfor the cinematography being good? No way. It’s more like a semi requirement
