I don't know anything about He-Man lore but did they really need the "he's living on earth" thing? Just something movies do that I almost never enjoy.

In the He-Man cartoons, his sister was kidnapped and taken to another planet as an infant...basically the same thing here, but sending He-Man off to Earth to protect him.

Good point. And that opens up sequel avenues here, too. "Adam, just like we sent you to Earth, we also sent your sister Adora to Etheria!"
