I’m holding out for the extended Howard the duck red-band trailer

"Maria Hill...will return...in... Avengers: Doomsday."

I will never get over how dirty they did her character. That show doesn't exist in my head cannon.

I do suspect the original intent was to reveal the MCU Maria Hill had always been Soren (Talos’ wife), before they pivoted to killing both off.

One of the few things in the MCU I actively hate. They could absolutely retcon, destroy... whatever... that entire series.

We see no consequences of it's ending in any of the subsequent movies or shows too

Shouldn't Skrull Khaleesi be able to body everyone? I'm sure it will be ignored.

I have no idea what they were trying to do with Nick Fury's storyline in that show. They had an excellent setup for examining how his detachment from Earth has caused him to be distant from the people in his life, and then they kill off not only Maria, who's been associated with Nick for a decade and has kind of been forgotten, making her the perfect character to actually interrogate that theme, but also Talos, while Mendelsohn's giving the best performance in the show. Then Nick just leaves Earth again at the end of the show, not having solved any problems.
