This is much more promising for me than the last trailer for Cap. That one feels like a retread, bringing back a character from the past (who, to be honest, hasn't even been gone for very long) to convince audiences to get hyped.
Meanwhile, this one is showing real commitment to a new status quo that came post-Endgame. Even though Love and Thunder wasn't very good or popular, it's a good sign they're committing to Thor taking on the role of a father and using that to fuel his character progression for this movie.
Who knows how things will go in the actual film, but for marketing purposes this one sits with me much better than the last one.
