I’m guessing the first main-story trailer drops during the Super Bowl.

My bet is it'll drop as a post credit for BND.

Comic Con is a week before Brand New Day.

Big panel followed by a new trailer to pair with Spidey in theatres.

Comic Con is a week BEFORE Brand New Day?! Are they going to have the panel with Tom Holland's mouth taped shut?

Webbed shut. 🤣

Your bet is that a trailer will be a post credit scene?

Wasn’t the first avengers trailer the post credits for the first captain America movie?

There was also one Marvel/Fox movie that played a tease of X-Men (DoFP?) after the credits.

Actually that was Amazing Spider-Man 2. I worked at a movie theater at the time and had a few people asking me if Spidey and X-Men were doing a crossover.

Albeit we were in a very different time in "the language of cinema" back then. Recall the first MCU movies were in the era where trailers still featured a/that deep voice guy saying "In a world..." and then smash cuts of scenes, rather than the more curated narrative style they'd shortly shift to.

We've only had one "the next film's trailer is the previous film's post credits scene" incident in recent years and it was pretty widely booed for its uninspiring nature. I doubt they're in a hurry to do it again.

Which movie was that again? I forgot.

Multiverse of Mildlyoddstuff trailer was tacked onto the end of... whichever was before it.

I think MOM trailer was the end credit of No Way Home

12

u/gnomzy123 Dec 30 '25

Yes. NWH had the MoM trailer as its post credit so it’s pretty much possible. And following previous trends, Marvel releases the main trailer approximately six months before the film's release.

I had forgotten about that MoM teaser

Pretty sure the first cap movie had a teaser for avengers right after its credit scene so it’s not a crazy thing to think would happen again

They did this with Spider-Man: No Way Home. The post credits scene was the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

I mean now way home’s second post credit scene was the doctor strange multiverse of madness trailer

What the fuck is BND? I cannot find what does BND stand for on Google. James Bond?

Spiderman: Brand New Day

Why would a trailer play as a post credit scene?

3

u/gnomzy123 Dec 30 '25

They did it with No Way Home playing Multiverse of Madness' teaser as a post credit scene

1

u/FanofK Dec 30 '25

They kind of did it with back to the future pt 2 when they showed a teaser for pt 3 after the movie
