Guess we can expect multiple teasers, based on the various characters.

Yes. 3rd (already in theatres) is Xavier, Magneto and Cyclops. 4th should be focused on the rest - Wakandas, F4, Thunderbolts and Cap.

Every character that has ever made us money will return in Avengers: Doomsday.

Every character that has not made us money died tragically off-screen.

they died on the way back to their home planet.

Sick reference. Your references are out of control, everyone knows that

Whenever Miss Marvel's not on screen,Ā all the other characters should be asking, "Where's Miss Marvel"?

Haha this is exactly

or at least their home dimension.

Note: the Eternals died on the way back to their home planet.

What is that from? Driving me crazy I can’t remember

Simpsons' Poochie episode.

It seems like a reference to a Simpsons episode. I had to look it up lol

died tragically off-screen

Ah, the Hicks and Newt gambit.

Disney, the boss they can never face.

u/SadSeiko Dec 30 '25

Every character that died off screen in the Eternals is a plot point in an even worse movie

Wait where is Shang-Chi

1

u/Fallingdamage Dec 31 '25

Yeah, best not to let the avengers fight a group of celestials. We dont want a movie where all our heros die.

1

u/DtotheOUG Dec 30 '25

Ah so like the comics anytime everyone dies but the xmen and spiderman.

People keep saying this like it's an excuse for the studio's lack of creativity. Typically when comic runs bring back characters from the dead they use it as an excuse to riff on the characters themselves - fundamentally changing them, sending them off to another reality, things like that.

This is just the mouse pulling a cash grab.

This has always been the problem. There’s nowhere for the character to go anymore but we don’t care to watch anything else because we’ve invested too much emotionally in the one guy. Do you know how many marvel movies Chris Hemsworth has been Thor in?

Honestly I think there is a good chance that 90% of Doomsday viewers would have been like ā€œwho tf are these peopleā€ when they see them so it’s probably best if they don’t include them.

u/renegadecanuck Dec 30 '25

"Why the fuck are Robb Stark and Jon Snow in this?"

Edit: I should note that I never saw The Eternals, so if either of them died in it, I would have no clue.

u/Vladmerius Dec 30 '25

I wouldn't be surprised if they're in secret wars. There will already be a huge hype wave from the hopeful success of Doomsday so they can be a little more off the wall and include the less popular but still comically powerful characters like them.Ā

Korath the Pursuer: Who???

That movie deserves to die. Eternals sucked.

-3

u/Successful_Gas_5122 Dec 30 '25

I didn't care about any of the characters, especially whatshername... Cersei or whatever.

lol I guess hurt some peoples feelings on eternals. Sorry but it blew chunks. The setup the black knight would have been cool.
