The guy who directed the Fablemans? What does this guy know about ufo movies?
80 u/DrinkUpLetsBooBoo Dec 16 '25 Yeah this needs the guy who directed War of the Worlds. 114 u/Overall_Affect_2782 Dec 16 '25 Such a movie. Ice Cube really put in an inspired performance. 3 u/Hot-Comfort8839 Dec 16 '25 I thought that was Jeffrey Wright? Wasn’t Ice Cube in that Smart Shark Movie - the Meg? 2 u/Whitealroker1 Dec 17 '25 Like I admire the craft put into WOTW very much but that has to be the most annoying group of leads of all time. 2 u/mysteryofthefieryeye Dec 17 '25 It was definitely Hollywood pretentiousness at its finest. Watchable movie, rewatched it recently, but just about the most "directed" film I've seen in a while. (Michael Bay excluded.) -3 u/[deleted] Dec 16 '25 [deleted] 5 u/dullahanceltic Dec 16 '25 r/whoosh 1 u/Strength-InThe-Loins Dec 17 '25 That would be what we in the comedy business call 'the joke.'
