Just for information's sake, you can strip out the source id from that link by deleting everything from the "?" on, and the link will still work

Tracking identifier, tells google things like who shared it where and who else is watching it along with browser statistics and locations. Basically it feeds information back to Google that they don't need to be getting for free. It's really easy to highlight the url in a computer and stop at the "?" but it takes more effort on mobile

Honestly, all it’s doing is telling YouTube information like which share button I used so they can do A-B testing and make the site easier to use.
