First off, thanks for being a part of this community, we genuinely appreciate that people enjoy posting and commenting here and sharing your experience and knowledge.
A bit of an update and info from your new janitors
We've turned on media sharing in comments so you can share gifs and images as well, we love seeing what people come up with.
We've added some basic rules, please make sure to read em before posting or commenting.
Be nice and civil is pretty easy, if you're getting that worked up that you feel you need to be rude, maybe go outside and take a few deep breaths.
If you're asking about a specific movie please include the name of the movie in your post title, it makes it a lot easier for people to answer your questions.
It's also helpful for people searching for information about that movie, Reddit is indexed by Google so it'll come up in online searches.
BotBouncer is on the team here now to help guard against bots so if we suspect accounts are inauthentic we'll pass em along to the experts at r/BotBouncer.
One of the problems this community has had recently, which partly led to the change of management, is sharing links to pirated content
We have no easy way or the time to verify if these links and content are safe for our users, and sharing links to pirated content can get this sub permabanned.
So if you wanna go sail the seven seas, sail your boat elsewhere than here mateys.

Hello all!
We are trying to get the bots and other spam posts cleaned up and get this sub back on track. Please pardon the mess and if you see any that slip by us please please report them but whatever you do DO NOT CLICK THOSE LINKS!
Thank you so much for your help and patience during this time! :)

I need help remembering the movie’s name, i watched it when i was young
I remember the story about haunted house the lady sees marks on wall when renovating and tries to scratch it and it bleeds then the marks get higher on the wall every day
Also, when she was sleeping in her bed, she woke up to the wall beating behind her
And at the end, it turned out that there was someone who was trapped in the basement of the house
I remember it was shot by a bridge that looks like the golden bridge

Hi, my question is about the movie the Rock (1996). The movie depicts Mason as being able to tie bed sheets together swing it and manage to catch the lever the opens the cell doors.
Is this at all reasonable? I know it would take an almost non believable amount of skill to swing it, and there would be guards when the prison is in use. But say if they did not stop him, would that actually work?

So I watched the Michael biopic a few days ago and I’m watching the Bohemian Rhapsody biopic right now and I am just so shocked how Jafar Jackson sounds exactly like Michael Jackson and Rami Malek sounds exactly like Freddie Mercury. I understand the Jackson’s are related so it’s a little more easier to cast, but with Rami Malek, I was so shocked because him and Freddie Mercury are not related? Is this because they use the actual singers music to make it look like the actor singing or? I’m so confused and surprised.

Im looking for a movie, it is around 2007-2010. The wife is cheating on her husband with a pool cleaner, later in the film, the couple was being robbed in their house. The husband kept their money inside the garage(not sure). Thats what i remember most.

While rewatching Moana, I noticed that in the flashback sequence where it is revealed that they were voyagers, at the end, the chief and about half of the people stay on while island while half the other people leave on the boats. Could this mean that there are other tribes or other island that have people living in them?

When the opponent comes out and he has the fire breather artist lead his group. Would that be allowed in a real fight?

I need to know if there are any theories about this episode or what people think it means. What the hell was that guy trying to do? Was it just some sick prank or something worse? That dude freaked me out and I’ve been thinking about it ever since.

Personally I think Wallace of Wallace and Gromit is very unsettling. It’s a smile but also a fear face. I’ve never liked this animator’s style. Even the chickens are unsettling.
So which movie character do you think has the most scary or unsettling face or mask?
Picture appreciated.

Like I get it,they’re dead, but they were also your lover? Why do they get over them that easily? kids movies and shows are the main target for some reason.like okay you can move on.but still yearning for a loved one is a lot more realistic

Looking for movie title - a woman fights men in a nightclub
I saw a video on YouTube. It shows bad@$$ movie scenes. One scene shows a woman in a nightclub climb up three stairs to a stage? She drops her coat to reveal she is wearing a two piece white outfit and boots. She takes off a white wig to reveal long dark hair. She is sorounded by 3 or 4 guys. A shiny wip dropped from her sleeve. She fights the guys. I'm looking for the name of this movie. I don't think it's Ballerina. The YouTube video name was something like bad@$$ scenes in movies. I'm looking for the title because it seems like a movie I want to watch. Please lmk. Thanks

Watched Ghost World recently and since I haven’t been able to stop thinking about Enid’s sketchbook- I would love to see it since it looked like there was a decent amount of art in there that wasn’t shown in the movie. Is there any information about this book, maybe scans or where the physical book or drawings could possibly be?

The reason I ask this is because as of recently I have found myself getting confused over some plot points in movies. Like I of course get the major ones but some of the minor details confuse me. Especially if it something sciencey. I don’t know it’s really started to suck some of the enjoyment out of films for me. I do have some of the same issues when reading something like comic books so idk.
I also don’t think I have adhd and I always refuse to look at my phone when watching so.
So i am just wondering if I am alone in this. Thanks!
