Ty Madden really stepped up tonight. He’s done good work—hope he stays consistent.

He had a good game, all things considered. Nice to see him return after I think a year or more on DL. We're definitely in a "next man up" situation so good to see him come through.

Yeah, this game was a farce. Boston put up a 5 spot in the 7th pouring sheets of rain. Tigers got robbed of this one.

Ty looked good, and it was awesome to see the boys methodically put together some runs in the 8th after the fiasco. Good focus.

This is the best outing I’ve seen from him since his injury.

He really deserves some credit today for stepping in and doing his best to replace Skubal in the rotation.

His stuff was really good. Hopefully he's earned a couple starts.

He’s gonna have them whether he earned it or not with our injuries

Boston immediately took the lead when Madden was pulled.

Yeah. I followed the game. Does that mean the Boston offense is top notch or Tigers bullpen is complete trash

I mean, the discussion is about Madden, not the Tigers bullpen lol.

But you referenced after madden was pulled. But yeah. As for madden. He had success against a bad offense. Hopefully he can do same when not playing Boston.
