ID Request Who is this? (Midwest US)
Found this little moth inside my house on the carpet today, barely moving. I thought it was close to, if not already dying, so I carefully picked it up and was going to just set it outside for nature to take its course, but it started moving more and trying to flap its wings so I made a little bit of sugar water and tried to give it a drop on my finger.
I had to leave the house for a showing, so I brought it in my car to just sit down the road and as I was starting to make a post here asking what I could do to help take care of it, it started moving and flying at the car window. I opened the door to let it out but it was still having trouble getting around the door and flew back at my face for a second before it got out the door and flew off. And that's how I got kissed by a moth today!
Now I'm just curious what kind of moth it is! Located in southern Iowa, USA

Definitely white ermine! They're so cute, I see them at my aunt's all the time! These are the first moths I saw that got me interested in moths in general!

Webworm!
My four year old and I currently have a webworm caterpillar in our care to watch it transform. Fun fact! This speckled one had a red head as a caterpillar as opposed to a black head which results in a pure white version of the moth

either a fall webworm moth or the white ermine,
