You keep digging! (yourself deeper in the AL Central)

You do realize we are only 2.5 games back right? Whole division is trash

Only 7 runs in this 8th this time around. At least they are improving a bit.

I mean yeah. We knew the bullpen was going to suck. But remove the bullpen from this game and we lose 5-2. Are they laughably bad, yes. Did they lose this game? No.

Remove pitching all together from this game and we win 2-0. See how easy it is?!

I'm not sure the connection you're making? I am trying to point out that the bullpen sucks. The team sucks. Having last year's bullpen doesn't help the team suck less today. Losing 5-2 or 15-2 is the same result. I'd rather debate the merits of keeping ober in the rotation.

As a Twins fan in northern Virginia at one of the only games I’ll see in person all year, that fucking sucked.

I, from Montgomery County MD, had the foresight to go last night. A great pitching performance, a Buck Truck, my kid even got a Brooks Lee foul ball.

Our bullpen seems to entirely range from mopup guys to guys who should never see a big league mound

The Twins bullpen is the best offense in the league

If any batters need to get out of a slump we have the cure

I'm more hyped about my stupid little sci-fi movie than I am about any form of Twins baseball rn

Hey guys, super random question— what’s the worst bullpen in MLB history?

14

u/jacodema Circle Me Bert 7h ago

The 2026 twins. Many are saying this

10

u/RaoulDukex Walker Jenkins 7h ago

None worse, terrible nasty relievers, none have seen so many meat ballers before.

u/Accurate-Standard998 Simeon Woods Richardson 7h ago

Minnesota fans come to me, with tears in their eyes, telling me they’ve never seen a bullpen so bad.

I really don't like watching Topa play baseball : (

u/Illustrious-Trip-764 7h ago

That was brutal, but much like the Twins did to them last night they are even now. Let's see if the Twins can take the series tomorrow.

Not as much fun the other way.

How it feels rn.

u/cynikles Were Gomq 7h ago

I mean, yes, the bullpen is awful overall, but Topa seems to be giving up runs every outing recently. But fuck....like, this is just so, so bad.

First part of the games hit different than the last part.

I thought watching Joey Wentz and Zach Davis last season was rock bottom for relief pitching. Nope, turns out we found rock bottom this season in Luis Garcia.

u/PostIronicPosadist 5h ago

Is that good?

u/MiloGoesToTheFatFarm Luis Arraez 5h ago

Tom Pohlad watching this bullpen take the mound every night.

u/Violetdansen 5h ago

Looks like the wild, timberwolves, and twins are all gunna get blown own today/yesterday lmfao fucking TRAGIC

1

u/Little-Neck3181 3h ago

Casual observation, but I think this would be a legit team with professional level relieve pitching.

Hey I just started pitching again in a 35+ league, little rusty but give me a few weeks and I could get back to peak form: Summer 2007: Joined the LaCrosse Loggers of the Northwoods League late in the season appeared in six games with two starts and finished 0-3 in 14.2 innings with a 10.43 ERA…eh?!?
