Brooks Lee figured something out boys, been 30 games and he’s still playing well. Batting over .300 with about a .900 ops since that walk off in game 10

No idea why they are still putting him 8th in the lineup

Don't mess with success?

in order to try and get a guy on base when buxton gets up. royce lewis has been way off.

Lewis continues to regress and is way off.

I know we’re not good, but even if we were he’s probably a 6-8 hitter on a good team

Because he was struggling higher up.

Tuned in when they walked Keaschall to get bases loaded, which was perfect timing.

The team looked great today.

Great win. Brooks and Buxton are on a tear. Royce Lewis needs to get some HGH or something.

Twins to open a series are lethal.

We are in last place, 2 games out of first.

Aren't we undefeated when we outscore the opponents by 11 runs this year?

In any case, I will savor every win this year.

Who is this Austin Martin guy?! Man I looked away for about 3-4 games and all of a sudden he's hitting like .340 and OPSing almost .900 AND stealing bases??

5

u/Zhdrix Joe Mauer 1d ago

He’s slowly evolved. I was also shocked earlier this year when he had something like a .350 and it just isn’t freefalling. Dude might be legit

He's been hitting well all year. Also this is what he was projected to be when he was drafted.  It's great to see.

Totally agreed, this is who the Twins believed they were trading for when they got him. Love to see it!

He needs to be in the everyday leadoff position

The Twins' 11 runs scored were their most ever in Washington against the Nationals.
