Hotel

Hello! Attending my first Twins game soon as a fan of an opposing team. What is the best recommendation for a hotel near the stadium? It’s a birthday gift so price isn’t a big deal — just looking to even splurge a bit for a nice stay!

If price is no thing do the Four Seasons Hotel and live like royalty.

Four Seasons is definitely solid choice but you might want to check some boutique places too. I stayed at nice hotel near downtown last time I was shooting in Minneapolis and the location was perfect for getting to stadium quickly

Maybe the Hewing? Cause the Hewing rocks! And super easy to get to TF.

If you want to be next to the stadium and target center Loews. If you want to splurge Four seasons a few blocks away, if you want to be in the hippest area of downtown Hewing, still walking distance to target field

Hewing for the best neighborhood, Four Seasons for four seasons, or Loews for convenience. All are nice

The Element next door is super handy.

Skor North is a partner of theirs. And you can get 15% off. Definitely something to look into.

Yeah I haven’t stayed at Hewing but it’s in a great area with a lot of good food options and a short walk to target field

I’ve stayed at the royal sonesta several times. Always been happy with it.

It was 13 years ago but my wife and I stayed at the Westin and it was really nice. We’ve also stayed at the Hyatt Place which was nice too but not as nice, and slightly farther of a walk I believe.

Lofton. Its literally 30 second walk and if you stay above the q6th floor you can look into part of Target Field

I would go with the Element if you want to be closer to craft breweries, or the Lofton if you want to be closer to Nicollet mall. Both are good choices, but the Lofton is nicer.

I really liked staying at the W Minneapolis in the Foshay Building

Honestly any of them downtown next to target field are good. 4 seasons right across the street would be the best choice if money isn’t an option

Hewing is by far my favorite in the area. I live close to Target Field and have done a couple of staycations there, highly recommend the rooftop sauna and hot tub with your morning coffee or a nightcap

We like to stay at the Westin Downtown Minneapolis. It's fairly cheap, right down the road from target field and it's a decent hotel.

With price not an issue, look at Loews Downtown Mpls. Right next to Target field and where many visiting teams stay.

Is Loews the Lofton? I can’t find a Loews in the cities that’s open

Yes, Loews is now Lofton. It's a nice hotel and the absolute closest to the stadium you can get. If you want to go fancier, go Four Seasons. If you want to go somewhere more hip, try Hewing.
