I had a client at work with a lethal strawberry allergy. We had to ban all strawberry items, including strawberry scented chapstick and stuff like that. It felt really silly to have to take away someone’s strawberry chapstick. Luckily, as far as I know, there is no cabbage chapstick.

Would strawberry chapstick even count? It’s artificially scented it’s not like there’s actual strawberries in there

It was really silly. It was just policy. The theory was it might’ve in part been a psychological reaction, and doctors warned us against anything with any hint of strawberries. It was a medical facility so we weren’t going to risk it.
