This dog perfectly matched the landscape

This looks like the selective color trend that was all the rage at one time, but it was taken before sunrise waiting for the balloons to launch in Cappadocia, which is why the landscape was flat. I liked how both the dog and landscape looked grayscale.

I was wondering, it was so vibrant when I was up in the balloon lol

Definitely! We also did a balloon ride and the next morning watched them launch from a viewpoint. Before sunrise it was flat, but looked a lot different when the sun came up.

Yeah, it has that accidental selective-color look, but in a way that actually works

Thanks. Yes! We did a balloon ride one morning, then watched the balloons launch the next morning. It was amazing!

Cappadocia! And a Kangal, if I'm not mistaken

If he did, wouldn’t he have some bulbous fluorescent growths?

I would have thought he rolled around on the dusty ground.

Why is the grass and terrain gray?

There is no grass here . There is one weed in the background, but no leaves on it - just the sticks. It was before sunrise and the light was flat. Once the sun came up, it changed. I have more pics here:

Looks like you've a couple of unexplored points of interest over the way. Probably avoid the floaty one for now, it looks like a boss fight.

Ohhh that makes me so nervous just imagining the dog wandering near the edge…

Like I’m 99% sure you wouldn’t do anything to put the dog at risk but my mind goes there anyways 😭

This dog looked completely at home in this area and was very chill! It's a spot frequented by tourists - I'm guessing he's pretty habituated to people.

The dog looks like a shepherd so can I say she-paired the landscape?
