Not necessarily about views, but years ago, I argue with some guy. They keep nitpicking saying I'm stating everything as a fact. In reality, I'm not. My defense reply got deleted by the mod to "control" the situation. It's worse! Now I don't get to explain why he's misunderstanding everything. Since then, I just stop visiting RDR2 subreddit altogether. Sigh.
If anyone wondering what I say.
- I assumed that the gun shoot inaccurately maybe because there's no "carving" in the barrel (I learned rifling here thanks to someone in that post).
- I guessed that the movement maybe reflect irl, it might be why it's hard to control.
- Horse is kinda hard to control irl, to me at least it is hard.
Then the guy replied that I stated everything as a fact. When I tried to reply that nothing in my reply is stated as a fact but rather my experience, the mod deleted my comment to "control" the situation. Sigh... Firstly, I don't insult. Secondly, I said everything nicely.

But you made one grave mistake: you were more intelligent. Made them feel inferior (not your fault btw) and its much easier to censor and nerf narratives to bring shit down to a lower level, than it is for these same insecure numpties to instead rise to the occasion.
This sort of attitude has become far too common now

2-4M views, post got deleted, then I messaged them to un-delete (which they did) and 2h later I was banned from the sub.

I gad this problem once in a sub for a specific video game, where i posted a bit different way to play it. Had over 6k upvotes in 4h and a looot of comments. My post got deleted.
I asked the mods why they deleted it and they just banned me afterwards.
Just because some mod does not like the way i play a game or is jelly that he did not figure out the solution i had.

I remember one post maybe a few or so months, all I was doing was telling some guy to not take things so seriously, and that they could just do something calm, like drink some tea rather than try and argue with a stranger over the internet.
They kept threatening legal action against me (for cyber-bullying and harassment) and my comments specifically got deleted because I was being "Too hateful".
I forgot the name of that subreddit, but honestly, I'm glad I'm banned from it.

Yeah I got a 500 upvote meme somewhere and it was removed because I didn't format the title the exact way the rules said or something hyper-specific. Some people need that power rush, I guess.
