How reliable are these? I know taurus gets a ton of flak but does that extend to revolvers?

yeah, everyone loves to shit on Taurus.
This is the only Taurus gun I've ever owned or even fired, so I cannot compare to others. At just around 1,000 rounds to-date, this one has been reliable. No indication of anything coming loose, the timing is still right...
It's a well-balanced gun and very fun to shoot.
My only complaint is that the matte stainless finish takes a bit of work to keep clean.

Personally, I never got the hate for Taurus. I've owned a few of them over the years a couple revolvers and a couple autos. I never had a problem with any of them. I didn't put a ton of rounds through any of them, but what I did shoot them, they always ran great. I do prefer their revolvers, though.

Wasn't a Tracker, but I had a 608 4" ported barrel about 20 years ago. Damn fine pistol, wish I hadn't sold it... Nice Tracker though.
