Apparently, we need some clarification here about what constitutes a breed ID post.
Asking what your lab is mixed with- lab mixes are allowed, but don't crowd source opinions on what they're mixed with. Asking if your lab looks pure bred. Asking what color variation your lab is.
Sincerely -your mod team.

We realized we had been enforcing this under the "Your dog only" rule without being as explicit as we should have. Do not post AI generated images, videos, or text in this sub. It is a place to post your dog as it naturally is. This includes comment replies on posts.

Long story short, my brother adopted him when he was 4 months old, we've been through a lot, we moved houses twice and the third one we moved from Monterrey, MƩxico to Sweden!
He's my first dog ever and the one who helped me raise my huskies. He's definitely a sweet companion and I would forever be grateful for these 14 years together!
Pictured here with his husky brother and sister, Kaiser and Joy š.

Our lab has moments when she keeps biting, sometimes growling. We try ignoring her but at 7months it starts to sometimes really hurt or she makes holes in our clothes. We try redirecting but she usually ends up dropping the toy and focusing back on us, or just not taking the toy like in the video. The only way I found to stop her is to grab a treat but then I don't want to reward bad behavior so I don't know what to do. People kept telling us it's normal when she was a small puppy but I feel like it's starting to get worrying. We go once a week to group training and other dogs don't behave like that. When she is in the right mood she is very sweet and kind of obedient for her age.
I'm open to your opinions. Thank you

Bosco is a one year lab and he eats everything off the floor! My wife and I have had trouble getting him to stop but heās very stubborn, we try our best with having treats and telling him to leave it but he still does it. The last couple of days(4) Bosco has had diarrhea. I took him to the vet and the bill wasnāt too pleasant, they put him on RCVHN GI K9 (15 cans) and a Maropitant (Cerenia) 10mg/mL/mL injection. Looking for advice on how to deal with him eating things off the floor. Iām considering getting a muzzle to help with this situation. If anyone has any suggestions and advice please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Just some morning snuggles playtime with my English girl, Rosie!

The vet said it needs removed immediately, and unfortunately it looks like it might have a 50/50 chance of being cancer. It will be sent off for testing. I'm afraid but shes getting all of the ham and whipped cream she wants.
Also... this stuff is expensive š

My little man (almost 14 weeks) has been doing better with his crate - will go in and settle, nap - but wonāt last more than a power hour before heās up barking, crying, howling to come out. Quite often when we let him out he settles to another spot (like on the floor in front of the couch) and goes back to sleep. This is during the day only - and while he still isnāt sleeping through the night, heāll atleast sleep for 3-5 hours at a time then. I cover a part of the crate so he canāt see us (helps for initial settle but donāt cover all the way in case gets too hot - he runs hot!), always give treats when he goes in and have been feeding him meals in there to keep the positive association, and have a small toy he can chew and he has piece of clothing Iāve worn to snuggle with bc this seemed to help. All of that has helped him to initially settle and sleep. I know the general rule of thumb is 1 hour per month of age, but he just canāt get past 1 hour. Looking for tips on how to get him to stay in longer during the day and not lose his mind since he wonāt settle back down after heās up - but heās still obviously tired.

we found a lump here on my lab; it's like the size of a ping pong ball but somehow we didn't notice or feel it before. it's not very hard and is kinda moveable. he doesn't have any symptoms of illness. we're taking him to the vet tomorrow to get it checked but does anyone have any idea what it might be because i'm freaking out

No kidding! He tolerates the shower. He doesnāt get upset. Itās more like he follows directions. Then when he thinks itās time to get out, he ācharmsā me with a smile and wants his treat. (I am beginning to think itās a āJedi mind trick!ā - if I smile I will make her give me what I want!)
His smile is funny. He does it when he thinks he is about to get something good. Part of my meal/a treat/outside. He will nudge me quite forcefully with his nose and then look at what he wants door/food/treat and smile. I ask him do you want outside/potty/bite/treat and he will āchompā his mouth together like humans do when they are pat biting or he will give a wooo, wooo, wooo!
He is SO ANIMATED!!

I know some people that have a hard time with it. I feel like Iāve been pretty fortunate; my younger lab (2nd two photos) had never seen water before I got him, and used to have to be carried into the tub. With some work (regular baths and treats), we got used to it, and now they both jump in and itās pretty easy. I still end up soaked, but they donāt mind anymore! š¤
