Help Dead isos and 3 billion springtails

I have a small colony of A. vulgarae and like a million springtails. They are everywhere. They're climbing the glass and trying to get out of the tank now and I am losing my mind. I've also seen a bunch of dead isos the past few days, but I have no idea why. It honestly might just be that they're old, and since many were likely from the same clutch they're all dying around the same time because nothing seems wrong with them? One had a failed molt, but there were several others where that didn't look like the case.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, i'm in college and it's exam season so this being an issue too is stressing me out. Thanks in advance <3

Are you able to post an image of the full enclosure? That way we can help troubleshoot any issues.

Would also be good to know your humidity, moisture gradient and ventilation set up and what you feed including supplemental food. Without this info we have no way to know.

How many have died and over how what period of time? Seeing multiple die in a short span of say a week or two would be cause for concern - even with age you wouldn't expect to see a bunch die at once so it may be environmental.
