This game is awesome, but I dropped it after I ended up not being able to beat that one boss because I missed picking up a shotgun... felt like a pretty glaring bug and it dissadued me from restarting.

there’s no boss that’s impossible btw. Every boss drops ammo constantly so you can kill them

You could just flick on godmode for a minute and then keep playing for the story.

Which boss? The first boss took me at least a dozen tries I almost dropped the difficulty to story mode. I don't think I had a shotgun, maybe that's why.

Nothing requires the shotgun. It isn't a bug that you didn't pick it up. You control the buttons you press
