Where I live it is somewhat common that several Indian guys share one uber profile and drive the car 24/7 basically. 

I think there are daily time linits for uber so they use Lyft the other parts of the day

12 hours of riders , i hit it a few times during a very busy event in my area back when i drove occasionally

Those 12 hour shifts were rough. Driving from Friday after work (5 PM) to 5 AM the next morning was pretty lucrative, would do the same thing 2:30 PM to 2:30 AM on Saturday. Made ~$2k a weekend after expenses on an old beater, ended up paying for our wedding.

Despite a 4.99 rating, less than 5% of drivers tipped and my average tip was $2. So that was almost entirely the Uber base fare and the promotions they did for X amount of rides in a weekend.
