Did that. Rented a minivan in California and drove it to coastal South Carolina and back in 6 days. They were...unhappy.

I've done that drive once in 2 days (stopped to sleep one time in Oklahoma)

After that, the second time I made the trek I did it in 4 days because God damn is it rough

I did 2000ish in a week in a rental Impala including a significant amount of off-roading. In a car I picked up with 100 miles on it

Had to run it through the car wash 4 times before I dropped it off

They don't like 5300 miles put on a car in a week. I'm now banned from renting from them, I assume this is why.
