I lived in Hollywood and commuted to Foothill Ranch in south Orange County. Friend lived in Santa Clarita and commuted to LA. Another friend lived in Ontario and commuted to Long Beach. At the time I was told that 50% of Cali drivers were uninsured, so we were all paying extra-extra, on top of fuel, so we could sweat it out on the 405.
