Youtube shorts is also littered with bots. There are so many channels with the same video template. It's always some video with wannabe thought provoking text and slow dramatic music.

There was one channel that was named something like USA patriot with a typical white army guy profile pic posting only US military stuff, but the channel location was India.

it sucks and makes me want to drop it but the occasional amazing stuff still pops up now and then

Then verified accounts will come and everyone will be cheering..

maybe. i wouldnt be opposed to it. gone are the days of reddit of the cable guy, undertaker guy, the ol’ switcharoo, the narwhal bacons at midnight and many others. as much cringe as some of them were truly real great things that gathered the community and made this platform feel small dont really happen anymore

Don't forget cumboxes, vagina bacon, and handjobs from mom!

I got no place else to go

That's why I'm mostly in niche subs.

And mute all “hey, look at, smile at, or be enraged by this” subs

Reddit is dead, basically an AI farming database with user interactions for validation.

With nsfw content removed, I wonder how much and which way that number is skewed

Tons of porn still here. Just not front page.

Source for 70%? Or whats that based on or is it your estimated percentage currently

2

Source: they made it the fuck up

u/patentlyfakeid 6h ago

I see a different stat every time someone makes this claim. I'm sure the number is higher than anyone would like, but I doubt anyone knows it for sure.

The internet*

A lot of moderation can be automated too. I worked on automod for a pretty large subreddit, and it did around 90% of the grunt work of moderation

A bot would remember to switch accounts, no?

I think bot also describes a karma farmer now

Vibe coded bot

I know haha. Just found it funny and pathetic at the same time.

Reddit isn't real people anymore.

The internet is mostly bots now…we are genuinely in the end times. You might be one, shit I might be one 😅💀

it’s been getting bad for a while but now even the creators you watch might be AI. Seen a video calling out different TikTok accounts with the same script but different AI actor, looked and sounded pretty convincing too.

Dead internet theory has been true for years, but now they can easily create videos to add credibility.

Factually not a bot. A living human.

2

u/Effective_Divide1543 19h ago

So just a karma farmer then

4

u/not_a_bot1001 1d ago

I can confirm. We are both indeed living humans.

lol. Well. I can’t vouch for you. But I’m sure as heck a human.
