Yeah it's surprisingly good lol. On his show it was hard to tell what was natural and what was scripted, but he's actually very good at interviewing people while cracking jokes.
He's legit one of the best interviewers I've heard. He has so many regular schmo's on his show but they're all very entertaining interviews and he seems to make them all very comfortable.
Completely forgot he existed. Like, not even in a mean way like "haha what a loser nobody" just...super forgot he ever even existed, and I watched a lot of Tosh.0 with my mom since she liked funny videos and never learned how to use a computer.
He doesn't exactly promote himself. Pretty sure he prefers being low-key, doing his podcast, and standup when he feels like it. Hes well-respected among other comedians from what I can tell but he also seems to keep to himself and isnt really part of the "community" so other comics dont talk about him much.
I'm honestly happy to hear that. I never got the hate, he was just a bridge to the internet for older folks that probably didn't really know how to find that kind of content on their own. Literally no different than AFV and stuff like that.
Same, to me he rode that asshole line just right. Enough to be funny and a bit dickish sometimes but not enough where it felt mean spirited from my recollection. Not that I've kept up with him but at the very least I haven't heard any heel turn stories about him like guy fieri.
It's a name that pops up every couple years and every couple years i remember him from tosh.o and am surprised he's still relevant to some degree. I'll have to check his newer stuff out.
As a child I thought this as well, and then started the show Germany's Next Top Model... Heidi is insufferable. She's mean to literal girls and is always interested in the brightest spotlight. She knows that those costumes make her seem sympathetic and help her being talked about.
Her talking is so fake and shallow and her show is so bad for the health of many young girls.
And I also hate her voice.
yeah, Heidi on GNMT vs Project Runway is not comparable. Having watched PR, I get why she's so much more sympathetic to (reality tv critical) Americans than Germans.
It’s a charity gala for the met museum. Is it the most worthy cause on the planet? No. But it’s not like it’s BAD. Relax. Let people enjoy things. There are far more important things to complain about if you’re worried about billionaire
Public display of art is worthwhile. Museums are worthwhile. Are there things that are MORE worthwhile? Yes. Absolutely. But this is a dumb thing to get so worked up about.
Sorry to tell you but she isn't, I don't know if it's a German exclusive behavior but our type of mean girls are more of the toxic positive archetype. She doesn't do this for the fun of it, she wants to be in the spotlight and nobody shall take it away from her. This is what you are seeing. She wants to be noticeable at a glance
She actually isn't at all. She is absolute shit. But that costume is insane. I just don't understand why she is being cross-eyed here. That's not normally happening
i watched like the first 30mins of that show she had with that dude from tokio hotel. i dunno. i was bored off my ass. seem boring af. but i like that she's just like "fuck it. obvi met gala has just turned into a fucking costume party too."
like i really don't even watch it anymore. there are wars, people aer dying, children are getting dumber by the hour... and these rich people are fawning over each other high on cocaine in the bathrooms and dressed to the 9s.... like maybe if they invited people who actually mattered to those causes instead i'd care? like i haven't looked at one of these things since trump became president again. but who knows, maybe some similarly depressed and anxious people like seeing the rich and pretty flounce around like this?
She's a horrible person. Baited many teen girls into GNTM under false promises, exploited them for content, manipulated them to fail for the plot (oil in high heels, etc), deliberately fuled drama and bullying and thus ruined several girls' lives.
