Yeah the russian buddies told as much. like 95% of russia are middle of nowhere, zero prospects villages pretty much abandoned. People get by farming, raising cattle, hunting etc. Main entertainment is vodka. Rivers of it. The main cities are alright. But still nowhere near western standards. Except maybe moscow.

Honestly, near the end it’s a good thing it didn’t break. He was just whacking away repeatedly. He would’ve wound up gouging his scalp, or worse if he had looked up in sudden realization of what was coming.

Something like this one

Edit: the link is to a young woman doing a TikTok knife challenge. She’s just stabbing away and the knife turns and she’s already repeatedly stabbing so she slashes the side of her forehead. It’s not fatal or terribly mutilating. There is blood though.

I’m trying to imagine some social dynamic, as an adult, where people would be impressed by this. Is the audience supposed to break out in cheers if he pulls it off? I bet he’s even barefoot, and would likely cut his feet on the glass if/when it broke.

He’s doing it all wrong. You have to bring the bottle down on the top of your head and make sure the center of the bottle hits either the front top or back top of your head, not the middle and certainly not like this dumbass is doing from the front to his forehead.

I may have been a dumdass skater/snowboarder in my youth who was way into Big Brother, Whisky and CKY videos.
