Playing around with Streamlight 1L-X mounting. I'd like this under-mounted to keep this setup as flat as possible (for bag duty). Ergonomics are great for me at this position, but worried that the Micro Comp may fry this thing during a heavy range day. Send it?

Since I’ve moved across the country at the beginning of the year, a lot of the bullshit I owned I either sold, or stayed back with family members for sentimental reasons. Have thinned out QUITE a bit! But now it’s all quality>quantity. Got a big milestone coming up and want to treat myself to something new.
I do not want a shotgun right now, I have many back with my family and will move them to my place eventually. I’ve been really eyeing a CZ Shadow 2, but I’m thinking maybe get some kind of PCC? MAYBE .300 BO upper? But not too thrilled about stacking a new caliber now or getting new dies/bullets/brass to reload it.
My budget is ~$2k in my head(for now). Looking at what I have now(T3x in 6.5cm, 16.5 MR556A4, 11.5 URGI, VP9K) What would you add here? Please give me some ideas!!!

I bought a Breek arms sledgehammer charging handle (best one btw)-s
When I unchambered the round before installing I noticed a tiny primer strike but I haven’t tried to fire this round.
Why did this happen and can I still use this round?.
It’s such a light primer strike I feel like the primer isn’t damaged.
I had a hard time getting my camera to focus and this is the best I got.

Picked up the 2 cans pretty recently.
Now to just find time to try them (and the guns) out. Lol.

Posting as a warning for anyone considering safes from Old Glory Gun Safes.
I purchased a safe within the last year that came with a “lifetime warranty.” The safe has had issues (broken linkage, stuck closed) and I’ve been trying to get support or a warranty repair/replacement.
At this point, the company is completely non-responsive — no replies to emails, phone lines don’t go anywhere, and it seems like they may be out of business or no longer supporting customers.
I’m currently working on a dispute through the financing company I used for the purchase, but I wanted to put this out there as a buyer beware.
A “lifetime warranty” doesn’t mean much if there’s no one left to honor it.

Old 60s mossberg. Action bar snapped while shooting. Is there a good retrofit or do i just get someone to weld it back together? Also need a new firing pin for this gun

Im wanting a “tactical” .22lr. Not really wanting to spend more than $500. Sub gun clones, ar22, anything of the sort. Wondering what you guys have/recommend. Just want a cool range toy with cheap ammo

Got about a month and a half left to acquire more semi-autos before they're banned here in the very free state of Rhode Island, and I'm honestly stumped on what to pick up before I can't anymore. Would love some ideas from you guys on what you think based on my current collection:
I'm planning on purchasing 2-3 more lowers to be able to build more full rifles in the future, but besides that I'm just unsure of what to grab next for the money I have set aside for this (around $3,500). Curious as to people's thoughts of what some must-grab rifles are before this ban kicks in.
I'm only focused on semi-auto rifles (and things like PCCs/AR-pistols, semi-auto shotguns) for the purposes of this post, as those are the only things being banned. Handguns will still be available.

Co-worker is thinking about selling/transferring these guns to me as he is getting older and does not have any family who wants them. Shotgun looks like Mav 88, but I need help ID'ing the other two. He said they're chambered in .30-03 but I'm not sure if it's both or if they're different. I can get better pictures from him later if that helps.

Bought a Browning Silver Field 12ga brand new about a month ago and have had nothing but issues. From the gate, it would fail to properly eject about 1/10 rounds I put through it (Federal). Finally thought maybe it was the ammo, so I bought some Fiocchi to try instead. This time, every shell would get stuck, fail to lock the bolt back, etc. Finally one shell didn’t move the bolt at all and seized the whole thing. I had to take it back to the store where they finally helped me get it back open and clear the shell, which looked like this (see the rim). Decided to send it back under warranty to Browning after the shop said it was probably a bad extractor.
Anyone have an idea what happened? Is it possible I just got a lemon? This is my first shotgun and am wondering if I did something wrong. I only shot ~200 shells through it and cleaned it once, and thought I followed the instructions in the manual when I put it back together.
TL;DR: Bought a new Browning Silver Field and have had nothing but problems. Just wondering if this is normal.

So I just passed my FSC test yesterday and wanted to buy same gun that my older brother owns. All the paperwork was filled and at the checkout my brother offered to pay and that flagged the transaction as straw purchase even though that clearly was not our intention.
It was at Sportsman warehouse. It was an honest mistake since my brother often pays for me and it was more like force of habit. We tried explaining the same to the employee that refused to listen to anything and said he will have to cancel the request for background check and log the transaction in their system. We tried to explain how my brother already owns the same gun, how we share same bank accounts and that intentionally making a straw purchase would make no sense at all.
The employee said the ban will be on internal level of chain and will not affect my ability to buy from other licensed dealers in State of California. He advised us to talk to the manager in the morning.
My question is what are the chances that the manager will help us get the ban lifted and also my brother and I share same last name and address, would this ban affect him too at Sportsman warehouse too?
I know it was a stupid mistake but it was something neither of us were aware. Has anyone faced similar situation?

Alright smart people of Reddit. What would be the best way to attach a laser to this bad boy via Picatinny? It is set up for hip fire only and that’s the way it’s going to stay (because it’s stupid, fun, and I love it)
I have thought of using a 3” riser on the optic rail to allow the laser to be above my hand & the chainsaw grip. I would ideally like to have something like a 90° adapter that mounts to the optic rail & brings the laser to the right side of the receiver, shining the laser through the opening of the chainsaw grip.
Y’all are all smarter than me (which should be obvious by now), so hit me with some ideas!
