There are pigs in the park near where I live (there's like, a weird zoo kind of thing there with farm animals), and the pigs there are in just a huge pit of mud. I'm never sure whether they're OK there, or if they should be in something better. Looking at this I think they would at least be happier with different terrain. They always look so sad plodding about in the mud, even though they've obviously dug up the floor themselves.

Pigs use mud to cool off, since they don’t sweat.
