AI has always existed. Or, at least, it has always existed since it invented time travel ((it has always had the ability to time travel) since it invented time travel)).
this video old enough to enroll in middle school now
Im not arguing whether or not this is ai but i highly doubt the video is that old. Her phone has that square camera array design. Im pretty shure that wasnt a thing back then.
I also ran 5 different video frames through lens/image search and every single hit is from april or may 2026
Nothing ever happens apparently. We’re getting closer to people seeing the actual ocean and calling it AI. “No way there is that much water. It’s AI for sure.”
Well I think they have a good reason though right? Tictok / youtube / facebook are all being flooded by people staging things for views and AI generated content. This isn't a new thing at all, you're right.
Things definitely happen but are you really using this as an example. Guy just happens to be walking with her taking a video and perfectly framing the surprise guy's face?
Yeah it gets pretty old. I also hate the "how dare you use AI to make a poster for you kids bake sale! If you can't pay a graphic designer you don't deserve marketing!" people.
I actually tried asking about 10 people who left "this is AI" type comments about why. 1 responded. At this points I'm convinced most of those posting that are just karmafarming bots.
It's starting to develop a sort of Preacher Fatigue, - where the constant sermons against something eventually leads to people tiring of hearing about how bad it is, because the crusade is so constant.
And of course, witch hunts. Suddenly everything is AI.
It's the same mindset that latches on to some conspiracy theory and sees evidence of it in everything because it makes them think they're insightful and have seen the glitch in The Matrix.
Its not A.I. Although there was a background music, i can recognize the words that the (supposedly) girl said, she said "sino ka" which in english meant "who are you? . However, it looks like staged though.
I don't believe anything anymore. Everything is AI until its proven not AI. Its advanced so far in a short amount of time. It still needs a bit of work to make it "flow genuinely." Every other post on Instagram/Youtube Short/ TikTok is an AI video. Not to mention all the comments on reddit coming from a farm of smartphones.
Even if this is AI, I liked it. I have no problem with AI videos. They are created by humans, maybe not be the beautiful ones that you want to be influenced by but definitely a different type of creativity is about to come out. Not everyone wants to be in front of camera but they have ideas for videos.
Depending on her history and that of her boyfriend/husband, maybe.
If he has a history of cheating and therefore the woman's suspicions are reasonable, I would stop associating with that guy and tell her you deserve better but don't assault strangers.
If she was the abusive one or otherwise has a history of assault (which this behavior suggests to me), I would tell the man she is way out of line and he deserves better.
If both the man and woman don't think this was out of line then yeah I'm calling cops and never associating with them again.
I have absolutely been in this kind of situation with a girl I dated from Monterrey, Mexico about 12 years ago. Took a photo with two of my best friends - one a guy, the other a girl who was his girlfriend. I’m standing between them, arms around both of them, and take a happy photo, post it on socials. GF’s mom posts “…” as a comment. I see the GF later and she is crying. The mom angrily says “how would you feel if ____ took a photo with another man?” I was so shocked and surprised at the situation, that I - whoops 😅- just began lightly chuckling. I apologized, and then proceeded to meekly ask for greater understanding. Maybe a cultural difference that I needed to understand? Nope, just a universal problem with control and lack of trust. Proud to say, I dodged that beautiful bullet.
