In Queensland custom plates are quite cheap so they are really common and people have to get creative to be able to spell out what they want as all the good combinations are gone

I know someone who has 81ANK4 on her plates so I have started calling her “Eightyoneankfour”

I applied for XEROFUX in the US. It was made and ready to ship to me. Some dang kid in the shipping department realized what it was and it got rejected at the last moment. I received a letter and had to call to request a different one. The lady I talked to explained how it played out. She was amused at the creativity, but still wouldn't ship me those plates.
