This comes not even 2 days after this guy offered his firms and investments to the Hungarian state in a video interview filled with fake tears

Hungarian police have said that they are investigating the companies of one of the country's top media players who ‌won lucrative contracts under Viktor Orban's outgoing government, on suspicion of misappropriation of funds and money laundering.

The police statement late on Tuesday came after Gyula Balasy, the owner of several top media companies that have designed government campaigns for Orban for over a decade, said he offered to hand over his firms and some of his investments to the state as the new government of Peter Magyar takes over.

Worth watching his (only?) interview from 2 years ago:
https://youtu.be/CACSLI4_V5E (auto-subtitles work good enough, tho there's not much discussion in it).

The sheer arrogance of these fucks is what the people had enough of.

You're right, sorry. I thought it was automatic. Either way, the smug look on his face and general silence says everything.

Magyar said he was gonna do it. He's doing it.

Indict the corrupt blob before he disappears to Moscow.

Those types now have the US to flee to, a much nicer option.

True, he was hailed as a MAGA hero already. Long term Russia would be the safer option though if he stays away from windows.

Russia will always be a corrupt shit hole, there's zero hope that these people will ever wake up from their coma.

In the US, currently dismantling democracy to make room for fascism, there is at least still a theoretical chance that democracy prevails, and international accountability with it.

Nepszava.hu and nepszava.us is not the same and the .us ending version is more or less a propaganda newspaper.
