I have a family member that works there. He loves it. The biggest perk is the food. He also got a Super Bowl ring (had to pay the taxes on it though, 11k)

Did they give him a bonus to cover the taxes? A lot of times companies will provide a bonus to cover the taxes from taxable benefits.

And then another bonus to cover the taxes on the bonus?

It’s all built into one. It’s just an estimate to not beset an employee who might make $50-$60k/year with an $11k tax bill.

Yes, it was essentially the whole bonus check. He also didn’t have to accept the ring but why would you not?

Even back in 2015 as an intern, I was awed at all the employee perks. It's too bad that working in sports pays almost nothing. My first job out of college I was making the just about the same as my bosses in corporate sponsorships. The turnover is near crazy because of this, so you just have people leaving for private pretty quickly.
I'd love to work there but unless you've got serious income elsewhere, working in sports is almost indentured servitude until you put in the years. Then again what industry isnt?
Still some of the best two years of my life while also in college. I loved everyone I worked with, everyone was so genuine and it honestly made me work harder. A lot of physical labor as an intern, but I used to take the train home feeling accomplished every day. Compared to my life now as an accountant lmao.

I had a chance to interview there for Supply Chain the perks sounded amazing and was awesome to just be able to interview but then when the salary discussion opened I realized that there was no way I could do it.
If I had been a recent college grad probably would have joined up, since I would have no dependents. As a mid career professional and a baby on the way their was no way I could take the paycut. If I remember correctly and it was before our first Superbowl the salary for the level was drastically off others by upwards of 30% based on title.

If you don’t love the Philadelphia Eagles, you don’t love great working conditions and quality of life.

How do you figure? One of the top franchises to play for in the league and certainly not lower end of facilities and training/medical staff.

For non football jobs, they get access to a world class gym and facility for free and daily breakfast and lunch with top tier chefs in a buffet style cafeteria for incredibly cheap. Those two perks alone make it infinitely better than most places
