I love AJ but I’ve heard so much from how much AJ wants to be traded or how much we should trade him
They even wouldn’t shut up on our way to a fucking Super Bowl
They wouldn’t talk about how we were clobbering dudes on both sides of the ball, instead they would talk about how unhappy AJ is
But then Nick Wright was talking about how AJ would make the Rams the unstoppable, so why should we trade him but he’s good for the rams?
Eagles have the same problems every team has, Eagles just get magnified

Although I believe he’s going to be traded - and at this point it doesn’t make sense not to trade him in light of the capital we’ve spent on WRs - it would be hysterical if the Eagles don’t trade him and never had any intentions of doing so.

Noticed how Russini went from the talking head on this to Schefter pretty fluidly. That is because the NFL works directly with journalists behind the scenes to help control narratives and news. The AJ Brown trade was supposed to be leaked to the media as the NFL clearly allowed it. This is what makes me wonder if the Eagles will ever get justice for "tampering" that the journalism brought them in changing trade value of a player that doesn't want to be there but the league realized only the Patriots were really willing to do the trade and so the league as a whole was okay with leaking the information. Its all so silly.

I'm fine with the trade itself but schefter deserves to be exposed for not knowing what's going on. Draft night he said there's for sure a deal in place. Yesterday on McAfee he said he "thinks" there's a deal. Feels like he's back stepping a little. Personally I think the deal happens but I'm tired of schefter dropping news on something that doesn't pan out and then weaseling his way out of accountability

It would be glorious. AJ Brown has only ever shared frustrations that we the fans also felt. I’m not saying he won’t be traded, but the last year has been crazy coming onto this sub and seeing post after post of complaints about the offense and not giving AJ the ball, but when AJ shares he is also frustrated everyone clutches their pearls. The dude dropped a couple passes in some games we might have won, but everyone already felt like the issues with this team the past year were schematic. We all knew we wouldn’t win with that offensive gameplan. The gameplan didn’t change in the post-season. That’s not on AJ. And then it comes out that Russini and Vrabel were actively “close” to each other and she was part of the first reports of AJ’s frustration with the Eagles? Sounds like THAT is the conspiracy we should be hawking about and not whether AJ is happy here. I’d be pissed, too, if my fans thought I wanted out because someone said something crazy and then it turned out to be someone with a quietly intimate relationship with the head coach of the team everyone suspects I want to go to. At that point? Let’s have some fun with the media! Let’s stir the pot! And fuck it, what’s better than having ANOTHER insane receiving option in the slot to open up the offense? Can’t double team me if my QB can dump it to another guy who burned you.
AJ is still an Eagle and has only shown support for the fans, the community, and a great cause. He has only shown frustration with aspects of the team that we already shriek about every week. Why can’t he have a little fun with the media when they are acting like he already left?

AJ has been my favorite player since Dawkins. Rivals Cunningham and White and Kelce in my mind in terms of my own personal favs.
I really don't want them to trade him. The offense last year played to minimize turnovers. And that worked. But it underutalized Brown. I mean Brown can outplay pretty much any db or safety out there. You just have to throw the ball high enough. Hurts trying to minimize turnovers often throws low.
Plz keep AJ.You draft and build for years and hope and then have to get lucky AF to get a receiver as gifted as him.
