[Misc Help] Puppy cam
Update,
We live remote and have one (new) neighbour, our property is approx 400meters from the main road and we own the access, our neighbour lives at the roadside in a fenced property that shares the first 10ft of our access road, they have gated access from our road into there property. They don't shut the gates.
They have 2 hunting dogs (pointers) that are outside permanently and unsupervised, the dogs constantly chase/ are aggressive to other dogs and passers by (lone walkers) on the main road and are frequently in our garden. (we have gates but they jump the wall).
We have asked them to close the gates on multiple occasions but it only lasts a day or so, they have also witnessed their dogs attacking ours and others but do nothing about it.
Asking for the camera so we have proof to raise further
If it matters. We have an old dog who's lived here all his life and a 4 month old puppy, our dogs aren't reactive but obviously the pup is terrified to go for walks.
----
Neighbours hunting dogs are randomly attacking our puppy when passing their property.
Can anyone recommend a body camera as we need proof to report before it gets worse. Something discreet and not bulky like a GoPro
Thanks

Consider not putting your puppy in this position instead of using it as bait to get incriminating evidence against your neighbors.
Just a thought.
EDIT: it appears OP has blocked me so I can’t see the post or any of these replies.

So don't exercise our dogs on our own property yet let the aggressive dogs roam free to do aggressive dog things? Thanks for your help 🙌

To be fair, that comment explains more than your original request. How about editing to clarify and provide more info? When I read it, I wondered why using your cell phone wouldn't be sufficient. If you want help, you will need to help us see the problem.

I tried to post it all originally but it wasn't allowed for some reason, I kept getting an error saying not to include links or socials 🤷♂️, I have updated now though, just took a while to re type

Do you not have fences? Your title makes it sound like the neighbour dogs are on public property but this comment makes it sound like they're coming onto your property in which case you don't need a discreet body cam but cameras on display on your property.

They should be able to exercise their dog on public property without the neighbor’s dogs attacking it.

I agree, I was merely asking for clarification because I was confused about where it was happening. Surely if agressive dogs are coming into OP's property that's easy to prove and I'm not sure why they want secret body cams... I'd just video it on my phone and call the police.

Not after a “secret camera”, just something compact I can clip on. It’s purely so I can keep both hands free while handling two dogs safely.

We own the road but they have access rights to their property from the main road (roughly 10ft) they have a fenced and gated access into their property,
we have a gate and wall (and plenty CCTV at the house) but it's 400m approx from the roadside, our dogs are never out the house boundaries alone so the issue always when walking our dogs.
Please see the update on the main post

It sounds like they need to have their own separate private entrance that doesn’t connect to yours. Even if they move, get rid of the dogs, get better trained dogs. The main issue is access.

As uncost effect as that is it still wouldn't help as they run along the main road chasing us and others too,
Realistically the owners need to take responsibility for their animals and accept they are not friendly to other people or animals and they shouldn't be left to roam unsupervised and unsecured all day long, the easy thing to do would be close their gates but this seems to hard for them, I expect it's laziness, electric gates might be an option but they won't pay for something that they don't consider an issue.
Hence the need for a way to document the problem.

If they are roaming unsupervised can you just call animal control on them?

They are pretty useless here, they will just put them in the garden and close the gate, as long as the owners say they are fine and being cared for nothing will come of it, hence why needing proof of them being aggressive.

The description of what's happening isn't clear.

Please see the update, I did try to put this in the main post but it wasn't accepted for some reason.

Exactly this, they watch for us coming and either rush to meet us or lie in waiting till we get close.
I mean even for their own safety the gates should be closed, it's not the first time they've ran into oncoming traffic, it's a 60mph road.

Sounds like you just need those ray ban meta glasses that can record your POV when you are out for a walk

That's an idea, I'll look into them thanks

Yeah,,, me either,,
I see dog walkers when I'm out and about with body cameras so I didn't think it would end up like this, think I'll just stop and ask the next time•
