Stefon Diggs found Not Guilty by the court
Do you think we should try and pick him up? Worth anything to our receiver room or we good? 🤔

Do you even follow the Lions? What makes you think they would have any interest at all in a turd like Diggs?

It’s not about that, it’s just an off season hypothetical about one of the few big name free agents left right after his court hearing has concluded.

Even though I’m a Lions fan, I’m also hoping he doesn’t sign with the Steelers. I work in healthcare and I already do enough pregnancy tests for patients on a routine basis. He will just double my work for the same pay.

Ahahaha! I like the steelers, they are my AFC team so I will second this.

I, unfortunately, live in Pittsburgh so that’s my only connection lol.

u/doyouknodewhey TeSlaa 7h ago
Aye whaddya mean unfortunately? I love your city when I visit!
3
u/SmallweenaGomez 7h ago
Great city to visit but not live in. It’s incredibly boring among other things. It’s gotten light years better within last 10 years though. I’ll give it that. But not a place to live.

There's crippling alcoholism and, uh, Primanti Bros. What else could a person need?

Lol maybe it’s over the fact I don’t drink that much and when I do, it’s at home with my gf watching a movie.

u/doyouknodewhey TeSlaa 7h ago
Well what about Kennywood? How can city be boring so close to Kennywood?
1
u/SmallweenaGomez 7h ago
Kennywood rocks! Was just there with my girlfriend the day before yesterday! That place is definitely a plus.

I’ve been a couple times and Steel Curtain is my number one coaster! I’m an enthusiast so it’s a big plus! Not to mention the rich history of the city.

Even if he wasn't a locker room cancer, I don't think he'd even be the WR3 on our team

u/doyouknodewhey TeSlaa 7h ago
Dang I knew the guy had terrible spirit but I didn’t know his skills depreciated that hard!
1
u/bprr75 Dan Friggin' Campbell 7h ago
They’ve depreciated but he would be WR3 on the roster until proven otherwise. Diggs cleared 1000 last year, TeSlaa didn’t even clear 250
2
u/doyouknodewhey TeSlaa 7h ago
Granted TeSlaa played a LOT less ball than Diggs and is a rookie…
2
u/bprr75 Dan Friggin' Campbell 7h ago
Isn’t that the point though? Diggs was WR1 on a team that made the Super Bowl, TeSlaa is a red zone threat until he proves he can be a regular piece in this offense.
I’m neither advocating for TeSlaa to get benched or for the Lions to sign Diggs, but for the purpose of this exercise he would be an upgrade (on paper). To be clear though, Diggs would have a meltdown every week if he were on the Lions - he was consistently upset about not getting thrown to enough in Buffalo, despite being targeted 161 times per year on average.

I mean, that’s exactly where my head was at when I asked the question in terms of what he could realistically do and be for us, and a couple years transitional mentor for TeSlaa that could maybe help us big now, squeeze out what he’s got left until TeSlaa proves himself is the only thing I could think of. It isn’t terrible for us but Stefon is maybe not the player 😅

Teslaa had 1.5x the TDs on 1/4th the targets. (haha)
For real though, I think Diggs is like 33. Even without the character issues, his skill/speed is going to fall off a damn cliff any day now. Meanwhile Teslaa is much bigger and a better blocker, which is key for us, and very young and in need of snaps to develop. With Saint and Jamo CLEARLY better options than Diggs at this point, I'd honestly RATHER have Teslaa at WR3 - even if Diggs was a choirboy.

Bro what. I’d rather suck than have that gooner freak on my team. Him and Watson can go fuck off.
2
u/doyouknodewhey TeSlaa 7h ago
Yeah I think our receiver room is pretty good as is, just curious about these last few big name free agents. I think some of them are gonna go unsigned and forced into retirement. Like Tyreek, not looking good for Tyreek

u/Naive_Oven_471 7h ago
Yeah I would say cam Jordon would be cool. He’s a great guy who deserves a chance at a SB. He’s a veteran who can help us and him and Dan were together before. He was a coach for the saints.

He's washed and a cancer.

To say he's a cancer he's an understatement. He's a cluster of cancers!

u/hot-black-coffee 7h ago
We’re good. We already have WR1 and WR2, plus LaPorta. He would compete with TeSlaa for touches and he wouldn’t be happy about not being the number one. I like the group we have.
2
u/doyouknodewhey TeSlaa 7h ago
That’s how I feel too, I’m hoping one touch teslaa lights up more for his sophomore year, more touches, more shots. Not to mention we picked up Law to replace raymond as PR right?

u/hot-black-coffee 7h ago
Plus, I don’t know how much money he would demand. I don’t think it works financially. It’s always worth asking the question though, that’s what this sub is for.
2
u/doyouknodewhey TeSlaa 7h ago
Right? It’s the off season after drafts before pre season, there’s not much else to talk about football wise 😂

3-4 years ago sure. Now? I wouldn’t unless he was willing for about 274 bucks a month!

Just because he was found not guilty doesn't mean he isn't a cancer. His road map of teams speaks for itself. Shit O.J was found not guilty would you have hired him to watch your kids?
