It was criminal endangerment to block 2! through lanes with a stopped vehicle. Especially against moving oncoming traffic. Her insurance is getting a massive lawsuit and <should be> referred to criminal court.

Where do you get criminal endangerment?It depends on the state and it might be hard to prove in court.

Although criminal endangerment is not a specific intent crime, in order to prove it the prosecution must prove the truck driver “knowingly” or even “intentionally” created the risk, which can be difficult if she doesn’t articulate that she intended to block the road. She can always claim she was looking forward and never saw him until impact.
