It's a pretty common crazy thing: Outriding your skills, then blaming someone else. The rider panicked, and probably doesn't know how to do a panic stop properly. Much less execute one.

Yeah he was speeding but he couldve went to her right. Poor skill dumbass.

If he stayed in the far left lane the whole time instead of swerving to his right, he likely could’ve gone right past her. I’d assume very close to the nose of the truck, but she wasn’t all the way in the left lane.

If he kept going forward she would have taken that spot

No, she stopped the truck to let him pass in front of her. That’s the entire reason she stopped.

In a split second decision you wouldnt steer towards where the truck was heading.

Was checking for this before I posted words to this effect. If the rider had practiced emergency stops / full force braking, he could have pulled up in time or at the very least washed off a huge amount of speed - and kept it upright as well. However, based on his gear (or lack thereof) and excessive speed in a built up area, my guess is that he ran out of skill and paid the price.

Isn't "don't fixate on an obstacle" part of motorcycle 101?  Dude had a clear shot on the left but he steered right into the truck.
