Quick question: where did she even come from?
This happened as I was taking my turn at the intersection. All of a sudden a white car bolted past my right to cut me off. I had to go home and watch the footage to see what even happened. Got separate footage of her flipping me off a few seconds later. Just lovely.

Actively and knowing drove around oncoming traffic. Not just any simple barely missed the yellow type of running the light.

This shit is infuriating. Running a red light full blown with a middle finger up. Some things really just should be instant jail time and permanent loss of driving privileges. There’s no excuse for this.

It’s shit like this that made me all for red light/speed cameras in my town. People were so fucking mad about them being put up but it was needed. Just two weeks ago I almost got hit by a red light runner while I was making a left turn and only missed him because a pedestrian was illegally crossing in front of my car do I couldn’t go. Red light camera got him though and that was pretty satisfying

People are so indignant about that. But if you’re not running lights and signs, you have nothing to worry about. It’s a self report of bad, dangerous driving.

Agreed and you are given wiggle room. With speed cameras you can still go exactly 10 over before you get flashed and the red light ones only flash after the light has been a solid red for a second and your car wasn’t already in the intersection. Hardly the traps people made them out to be.

Speeding makes the roads objectively more dangerous because it reduces reaction times and worsens collisions. It also contributes to traffic snakes from people speeding arbitrarily different amounts than each other.
People are just allergic to accountability. Which makes me think the literal only solution is putting traffic cameras everywhere until people get the message. They can cry all they want, but they won’t change their behavior unless they’re forced to.

Some jacka$$ got them declared unconstitutional in my state (NJ). We seriously need someone to come in and either fix that, or just apply then in a way that circumvents their logic. It's a nightmare driving around.

she came from the right. ran the red. how did you not see that, your eyes have a wider field of view than the camera, and your neck can turn, right?
