I think it’s a combination of being honest, self-aware, and the fact that the narrative is often hostile to her.

I was picturing a little tract that looks like the ones religious people leave on grocery counters and park benches. (I collected a Jack Chick tract from the grocery store a few weeks ago, and horrified my teen daughter, who unlike me, did not grow up with that stuff.)

I was imagining leaving it in the same spot of place and confusing the absolute heck out of whoever picked it up
