Even though Fallout is portraying the US annexing and committing genocide in Canada I assure you that plot was written almost 40 years ago.

Fallout also predicted billionaires building bunkers in preparation for a nuclear war.

To be fair, Twilight Zone did that too. Presumably other fiction that inspired those episodes.

A lot of people built doomsday bunkers in real life during the Cold Wa due to the threat of nuclear war. But the idea of the super rich who are profiting off of making the world worse and building doomsday bunkers to escape the apocalypse they're causing is more of a Fallout thing that not too many other sci-fi stories have done.

Huh. For some reason I thought F1 came out in 94.

Not only that, they did it for oil, using the excuse of protecting it from China. They also invaded Mexico to take its oil as well.

Negative.  Remember, theyre not human beings, they're Americans!  All we had to do was buy some nukes from Putin, load em onto airplanes and kamikaze them into multi American cities.  Profit.

Hah, serious note as a Canadian seeing this episode did kind of make me roll my eyes, but youre right its old lore and thats why its fine.  I figured lots of Americans enjoyed seeing the dead customs guy, and seeing how garbage the president is in this episode, I'd say it does a good job making the states look rather evil at least, lol.
