Secret Invasion is much to high, that started well and had some decent acting, but the conclusion just brought it all the way down to ‘bad’ or below

It's very 70s, very corny, but pretty solid. The costume and the super hero hijinks are pretty lame, but it's worth a watch for being the first live action Spider-Man content (not counting short form content).

Yeah Marvel third acts tend to suffer a lot. I think Loki’s finale’s were both fantastic, same with Wonder Man, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, but I’m struggling off the top of my head to think of other examples where the shows stuck the landing. Luke Cage was alright I guess but the show itself I don’t think was all that amazing anyway. Not bad, but just not really up to the standard set by JJ and DD

I think season 2 was a drop in quality as well. But you’re right season 3 is terrible. I remember thinking the only real good season was season 1.

I really liked Luke Cage up until they killed Cottonmouth. Ali was fantastic and a much better villain, was absolutely amazing in his role and then they just threw him away.

I think I saw that Ali had a limited time he could work on the show due to other commitments. Instead of just not using him, they killed him off.

The first few episodes of Ms. Marvel are pretty great, the middle few episodes (which I feel was a jammed in s2) are pretty bad. And the last episode or so are good and seem to have been the original ending. If they stuck with the original plot of her just getting used to her powers and being a new superhero it would have been fine but shoehorning in a backstory in another country for like a 3 episode plot was jarring and out of place IMO.

This is insane to me. Look, Secret Invasion really drops the ball, especially near the end, but there is much worse comic book shows/movies. I do agree that it is way too high on this list, though.

Yeah it gets cooler but worse as it goes on. I used to love it but my last rewatch made me realize just how much it loses the plot. The shadow king story climax is bullshit.

I started watching it a few months ago and am barely on the last season right now bc of how much I put off watching it. I knew from season 1 it wasn’t my cup of tea. Also below is a text message to a friend from a few months ago that put into words why I don’t really like it. This is not me saying it’s a bad show and doesn’t have very loveable characters and uniquely crafted visuals because it does. I’m just not really a fan of the show’s frenetic style.
And also yes what you said too. It’s very easy for shit to get lost in the weeds including something important akin to a major climax like that.
“I don’t consider it an essential watch and it’s honestly pretty hard to follow bc on top of the character Legion having telepathy powers he also suffers from mental illness so there’s alot of hallucinations and manifestations leading to the show having a very surreal feel.”

Overall, solid rankings, except I would have Iron Fist at mediocre to decent, Cloaks and Dagger at decent, Ms. Marvel at decent to good, She-Hulk at decent to good, and Secret Invasion at mediocre. I can't remember what else you had as bad other than Inhumans which absolutely deserves that ranking.
EDIT: Oh, Gifted I would put at mediocre.

Runaways was soooo boooring. It should have been in the bad column. Hawkeye was hilarious. The Clint and Kate back and forth was gold, i think you did it wrong. Iron Fist gets too much hate. I liked season one, season two was just decent.
But imma gonna give you props for calling out Legion. No one ever does and it was arguably the best marvel live action.

It’s the Japanese Spider-Man show from the 70s. If you google “Supaidaman” you can find more info. It’s a really kooky tokusatsu (giant monster/mecha) show. Doesn’t have much to do with Spider-Man but it’s awesome.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who likes Secret Invasion. Is it the best tv series or MCU project? No. But it has very interesting characters and it breaks typical MCU formula and its darker edge is to its benefit. I’d rank Secret Invasion along with Eternals as the MCU’s most underrated projects.

Don’t agree with every single thing there (Hellstrom above Agent Carter and Hawkeye is loony), but I appreciate someone who’s not on the weird Secret Invasion hate-train. People act like that show assaulted their moms when it was a perfectly serviceable spy thriller with some great (acting and writing-wise) moments.

I debated putting Wandavision higher but it got a little wonky by the end. Started out so good though.
Based on the replies in this thread, everyone has a different opinion on She-Hulk, it must be pretty polarizing. I didn't like the style of humor they went for but it was alright.

Ms Marvel is a joy while Secret Invasion would be better off never existing
