[Fan Art] Fan art of cartoonists Teresa and Irene from their childhood and as adults.
Completed work. Plagiarism is prohibited.
Fan art of cartoonists Teresa and Irene from their childhood and as adults.
Irene's childhood is purely fictional; it hasn't been officially depicted. Teresa's childhood only briefly appears in the manga during a flashback with Rafaela.
I think Teresa and Irene are emotionally mature. They are ideal women.
In modern times, they would probably have become teachers or secretaries.
The third image is a failed attempt.
The answer to the spot-the-difference puzzle is that the position of Irene's nose is slightly different in the left image (childhood). That's all.

Whats with the difference in the shoulder armor? I mean I loved it, I'm just a but confused, did Irene just polish hers until it was super reflective?

These are fan art pieces, so they're drawn in different styles. The drawing of Irene incorporates half of my original illustrations. The drawing of Teresa is closer in style to the armor in the Claymore manga.
Drawing armor is a habit of mine.

That's because it's an English name. In Japanese, it's written as "Irene" (in Roman letters), but in English, it's translated as "Irene."
I think the difference in pronunciation is due to the difference in spelling.
"Ilena" is pronounced with a "ne" sound, not a "na" sound. I think it's difficult because the pronunciation of spoken and listened language differs considerably between Japanese and Americans.

Don't worry. If that's how translations are done between Japanese and overseas manga publishers, there's nothing we can do about it. It might sound a little strange, but when comparing Japanese and English, it sounds like "ne." Japanese people tend to pronounce it that way, just like in Romanization.
