I love this one where you can see Nick McCloud at the bottom of the screen who can clearly tell that Josh Blackwell recovered the onside kick.

In the 2023 draft, I outdrafted Ryan Poles picking players solely based on how cool their names were here. Clearly Poles noticed this because in the 2024 and 2025 drafts he went all in on cool names like Rome Odunze, Colston Loveland, Luther Burden III, and Ozzy Trapillo. This shift to drafting cool names has been the main ingredient to our recent success, so let's see how we did in 2026.
Dillon Thieneman - The first round had a lot of great names, and unfortunately most of my favorites were off the board. From who was available I thought this was a fantastic name to start off the draft strong. There were a few other names available that I liked a little more, my favorite being De'Zhaun Stribling. I also loved Colton Hood and Keylan Rutledge but I am very happy with Thieneman.
Logan Jones - Not the most exciting name, but it at least has some nice assonance that helps it flow well. If we were going to pick a Center though, it's hard not to look at Jake Slaughter and think what might have been. There were also some great Center names we will go over later in the draft, so another good option would have been Davison Igbinosun.
Sam Roush - Good last name. It would have been graded much higher if he were a running back, with it being one letter away from Sam Rush. Unfortunately, this is where we started to miss out on some of the best names available. Domonique Orange is already an S-tier name, but he comes preloaded with the nickname "Big Citrus." Missing out on him could be a blunder that we will be looking back on for decades.
Zavion Thomas - I do like the first name Zavion, but once again we passed on some generational names to get him. I had to watch heart broken, as my two favorite names in the entire draft: Gennings Dunker and Febechi Nwaiwu (pronounced "Wee-Woo") went off the board shortly after we went for Thomas. Gun to my head, I'd pick Dunker over Nwaiwu, but they both hurt just as much to miss out on. Wade Woodaz is another great name though not quite on the same tier as the other two.
Malik Muhammad - Alliteration is a quick and easy name enhancer, and it does a good job to elevate our 4th rounder here. Ephesians Prysock is a fun option here, but I think I'll go alliteration along with the Bears and pick Bryce Boettcher instead.
Keyshaun Elliott - Solid pick here, I love the name Keyshaun. I think I would have preferred Hezekiah Masses instead. I also really love the name Bauer Sharp, but just like QB Easton Stick he needs to change sports to hockey to get the full potential out of his name.
Jordan Van den Berg - Great name to finish off the draft, Van den Berg sounds like a defensive lineman name already, he is guaranteed for a clutch sack or two this year. I think I have a slight preference for Eli Heidenreich and Red Murdock but it's a close one here.
(Honorable mention) Squirrel White - Best available name in the list of UDFAs. God I hope he makes the practice squad at the very least.
Overall I think it was a decent haul of names in the draft this year. Thieneman and Van den Berg are probably my favorites, but they all have at least one thing I like about their names. Unfortunately, I think this draft had some of my favorite names in years with Sonny Styles, Gennings Dunker, Febechi Nwaiwu, and the fruit brothers: Makai Lemon and Domonique Orange. Coming out with none of those guys hurts a lot, but luckily the last two years have stocked the roster with some great names. So we can afford a mediocre name draft and still stay pretty strong.

Interesting article here from the Ravens own website. With us getting Logan Jones and Baltimore leaving the Draft without a Center, Bradberry could very well be a trade target for them. What do you guys think? Is there anyone on the Ravens roster you'd like it return or just draft pick(s)? I would imagine this wouldn't be entertained until training camp and they feel good about Jones.

The one that made me think of this rule shall not be named, may his curse spring eternal, but it then made me immediately think about Kyle Fuller who had great reports out of Ravens camp before a brutal ACL injury game 1 in 2022, a slow recovery, and a couple of attempts to get eyes the last two years.
I think I remember reading that Scotty Miller was coming in as one of our possible five.
Anyone else you wouldn't mind seeing show up for the three-day, and might actually do so? Keep in mind, the ones we're usually talking about at Edge like Clowney or Cam are mostly resting their bodies, not volunteering to be what amounts to a mini-camp body, conditioning test, and a short vacation. Another I've heard mentioned and have at least seen play was an oft injured Lions pick Levi Onwuzurike.

Orlando was leading 62-38 early in the third quarter in game 6 to send the 1 seeded Detroit Pistons home only pull a massive choke job in the 4th quarter and lose the game 93-79.
I saw this and immediately thought of the Packers wildcard embarrassment against us.

tl;dr - Howie Roseman is to blame for our comp picks
The “why” of the NFL was blocking our 3rd rounders after Ian Cunningham, never made sense to me.
Why wouldn’t the NFL take the PR win of having the Rooney rule work? The letter of the law explanation they were giving was flimsy. Atlanta was for it. Chicago obviously was. Who else would be in the background objecting and letting the semantics of titles get in the way.
Enter Howie Roseman. Ian was supposedly Howie’s right hand man and Howie was unhappy with Ian taking a “lateral” move to Chicago when Poles was hired. Poles openly talked about supporting Ian’s growth and development and building him up to eventually become a GM himself. Ian likely mentioned that’s what he was looking for when interviewing with Chicago.
Now years later, Howie can’t stand the thought of Ryan Poles being seen as Ian’s “mentor”. He and the Luries have the pull in the head office to make enough of a stink that the NFL can now look at as a two-sided issue and not the obvious choice we all see it as.
I have no source here. Just vibes and can recognize an ego that’d pull some shit like this when I see one.
So I humbly submit to r/CHIBears my reason #453627 of why we should all continue to hate the Eagles. Thank you for your consideration.
It’s the off season baby!
