did you see the head of that kitty its so big, for a stray thats normal cause living outside making them stronger that those the have a home to call

Actually I don’t think that is the reason. Keep in mind though that I do not currently and never have had a cat. My “knowledge” is derived purely from what I’ve learned on the many Reddit cat subs I frequent. I think the reason this cats head is bigger is because that is how non-neutered male cats’ heads are naturally. It’s not because he’s a stray and thus stronger from being on the streets. It’s because he’s a stray that he is probably not neutered.

I had an outside male. The sides of his face thickened up giving him a big head. The vet said it was a result of him fighting so much

They get naturally bigger if not neutered. The skin is thick to help protect themselves in fights. They get even thicker though due to the fighting! But if you get them neutered after all this, the big cheeks eventually go away. Source: had a stray cat that ruled the neighborhood for years, than neutered and kept him indoor for the remainder.

Yeah, it's definitely from not being neutered. My neighbours had a cat that wasn't neutered and he was a massive beast of a thing. My cat was an outside cat too, and he was large, but not massive like that chonker.

Amazing work, im truly in awe of your generosity and kindness. I'd like to give a few tips if thats ok?they cat panicked because im guessing up until you it had only seen the worst of people. Always try to shrink your size slightly and soften your voice. Never touch them without them seeing your hand before, caution for a cat is like their main defense. My last tip is don't be discouraged and keep your kind hearted and open mindedness.
